Instead of having to switch between separate screens for voice and text, ChatGPT now lets users move effortlessly between speaking and typing, all within a single, combined interface.

The redesigned chat window means everything is in one place, and users can choose to talk, type, or combine both as they interact with the AI. Responses will now appear on the screen in real time, allowing users to keep up with the conversation, view earlier messages, and see any shared visuals like images and maps, without missing a beat.
