Ukraine has been a hot topic in Washington D.C. media and political circles recently, but it isn’t foremost in the minds of Alabama voters, according to Morgan Murphy.

Murphy, a 2026 candidate for U.S. Senate, said during an interview on Fox Business Network’s Kudlow on Tuesday that Alabama voters are more worried about domestic issues than the Ukraine conflict.

“People are telling me on the campaign trail they’re worried about the economy, they’re worried about their job, they’re worried about this shutdown, and they’re worried about unchecked immigration into this country changing the dynamic of the United States like it’s changed Europe,” Murphy said. “Ukraine has not come up once in my time the last eight weeks on the campaign trail in Alabama.
