Aston Villa midfielder Amadou Onana has trained at Bodymoor Heath ahead of the club’s Europa League match against BSC Young Boys.
The Belgian missed Villa’s 2-1 win over Leeds United at Elland Road after undergoing a late fitness test on Saturday.
Onana had returned to Bodymoor Heath last week with a fitness issue after playing for his country in Kazakhstan.
He missed Belgium’s second match of the November international break, against Liechtenstein, as a precaution, and he wasn’t ready to feature for Villa last weekend either.
The midfielder had started all four of Villa’s Premier League matches between the October and November breaks, playing important roles in the impressive wins over Tottenham, Manchester City and Bournemouth. He also started against Go Ahead Eagles
