CHESAPEAKE, Va. — A man died after being found shot inside a hotel room Tuesday night, Chesapeake police said Wednesday.

Around 11:00 p.m., officers responded to the reported shooting in the 2300 Block of Western Branch Boulevard. Chesapeake police say they learned a man had been shot hours earlier. He was sent to the hospital, but later died from his injuries.

Chesapeake police will continue to investigate this incident. No information regarding a possible suspect has been provided.
