Jim Mora is sailing for greener pastures.
After multiple successful seasons as UConn’s head coach, Mora is leaving the school that he has called home since 2022 to become Colorado State’s head coach , ESPN first reported.
Mora led the Huskies to back-to-back nine-win seasons for the first time in program history, including a victory over North Carolina in the Fenway Bowl last season.
UConn is bowl-bound again this year with its 9-3 record, but will have offensive coordinator Gordon Sammis serving as the interim head coach for the contest.
Mora is taking the Colorado State job just as the Rams join the new-look Pac 12 conference.
