A driver who caused a fiery crash on the Mountain in August and died was impaired by alcohol, say Hamilton police.
The passenger in the driver's car, a 1951 Plymouth, also died at the scene, police said in a news release Wednesday.
Around 6:30 p.m., Aug. 29, the Plymouth was travelling southbound on Upper Centennial Parkway from Highland Road. The driver accelerated, lost control and collided with another vehicle travelling in the opposite direction.
