Christmas will be extra special this year for two Palm Springs choruses that will soon call the historic Plaza Theatre home as part of the venue’s new community residency program.

The Palm Springs Gay Men’s Chorus will present three performances of “Bells, Brass & Sass” Dec. 19-21, blending traditional carols with contemporary arrangements and a full brass ensemble. Modern Men will perform “Cool Yule,” a holiday concert featuring jazz‑infused harmonies and playful takes on seasonal favorites, Dec. 13-14.
