Award-winning memoir author Patricia L. Books will host a workshop on Zoom titled, “Write the Memoir You’re Afaid to Write” at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan 17.

The workshop is put on by the Arizona Authors Association.

Brooks will help capture the essence of your untold story, share with how to produce a memoir to your own satisfaction, face fears and conquer the story’s emotional beats, according to a press release.

The workshop also includes a question-and-answer session and an activity following her presentation.

Brooks will also teach this workshop in an eight-week extended format for the Arizona State University Piper Writing Center starting Saturday Feb. 28th through three Saturday mornings in March.
