FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ill. (KFVS) - The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office welcomed a new K-9 officer.
According to the sheriff’s office, K-9 Caesar is a 1.5-year-old Dutch Shepherd.
They say he and his handler, Deputy Tyler Baxter, recently finished a 160-hour training course at Vohne Liche Kennels in Denver, Indiana.
The sheriff’s office was able to buy K-9 Caesar and pay for the training expenses with funds from the National Opioid Abatement Settlement.
