MOOSE LAKE, Minn. — “Reservation Dogs” star Dallas Goldtooth told jokes, led prayer and attempted to teach non-Indigenous prison officials a few dance moves at a celebration organized by Indigenous inmates at a Correctional Facility at Moose Lake.
The Friday, Nov. 21, event was in honor of Native American Heritage Month.
Goldtooth rose to international fame in the critically acclaimed show about the lives of teenagers on an Oklahoma reservation. He played “The Unknown Warrior,” an affable but clumsy spirit trampled to death by his own horse at the Battle of the Little Bighorn.
“They all saw my nipples. That makes me feel really good. Nipples are medicine. Bless the people. Free the man-nips,” Goldtooth told the audience, referring to his perennially shirtless character. “Indian nipple
