English punk rock band the Sex Pistols have announced a new tour, this time without one of their founding members.
The band is set to play four tour dates in the United Kingdom next summer to celebrate the 50th anniversary of their first single, “Anarchy in the U.K.”
The tour’s lineup will include original guitarist Steve Jones, drummer Paul Cook and bassist Glen Matlock, who revived the band in 2024, but will replace original vocalist John Lydon with Frank Carter, according to Ultimate Classic Rock .
Lydon, who also goes by Johnny Rotten, hasn’t performed with the band since 2008. He has made it clear that he will not reunite with the Sex Pistols again.
