A Winter Storm Warning has been issued from 7 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 27 for Allegan, Barry, Van Buren, Kalamazoo and Calhoun counties, according to the National Weather Service.

Snow totals are expected between 2 and 7 inches, with winds gusting 45 to 55 mph.

"Visibilities may drop below 1/4 mile due to falling and blowing snow. Whiteout conditions are expected and will make travel treacherous and potentially life-threatening," according to the weather service. "Visibility and road conditions may change rapidly over short distances in lake effect snow."

NWS recommends people consider delaying all travel.
