For the second time in as many weeks, Kaiser Permanente Northern California has been awarded top honors for quality care.

The latest honor comes from the Center for Data Insights and Innovation, which awarded Kaiser’s Northern and Southern California health systems 5 stars for providing high-quality care to patients across multiple specialties. They are the only hospital health plan to receive the highest score in the 2025-26 California Health Care Quality Report Cards report.

In addition, Kaiser Permanente Northern California and Southern California were also recognized with 5 stars for behavioral and mental health care. Kaiser Permanente Northern California is also a leader in the state with 5-star ratings for diabetes, cardiac, prenatal care, and care of children.
