A 49-year-old man from Napanee is facing more than a handful of charges after members of the Lennox and Addington County Ontario Provincial Police were called to a disturbance.
According to police, it happened on Nov. 8 shortly before 6 p.m.
Police were notified by emergency services that a person was seriously injured inside a home.
Police attended the scene and the injured individual was transported to hospital.
An investigation led to the arrest of Joshua Bulger from Napanee. He has been charged with the following:
Attempt to commit murder;
Forcible confinement;
Aggravated assault;
Assault with a weapon;
Assault cause bodily harm; choke, suffocate, strangle;
Uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.
