Rachel Reeves' Budget has officially ended, with many Brits wondering what many of these changes will mean for the country.
One reform in particular could mean your pint increases in price, as the Chancellor confirmed that alcohols duty will now rise in line with inflation.
It is usual for the duty to hike in line with the Retail Price Index (RPI) from September, which was 4.5 per cent.
This motion could mean the alcoholic drink you usually enjoy in your local pub could rise in the near future as pub bosses tackle the blow.
Bosses across the pub and restaurant industry had urged Ms Reeves not to increase the duty - but it appears as if it was to no avail as the politician confirmed the blow earlier today.
