It’s not rare for Michigan to see snow for the holiday of feasts.
Thanksgiving in Michigan can be a winter wonderland, especially in the northern parts of the state. Over the years, the state has seen incredible snowfalls, from heavy flurries in metro areas to feet of snow in the Upper Peninsula.
A strong winter storm is sweeping across Michigan Wednesday, Nov. 26 , creating blizzard and winter‑storm conditions — especially in the Upper Peninsula and parts of western and northern Lower Michigan — during the busiest travel week of the year.
