Alexa Chung Puts Polished Twist on Leather at Burberry’s Tree Lighting

Alexa Chung put a polished spin on leather outerwear at Burberry’s Claridge’s Christmas Tree lighting in London on Tuesday night.

Arriving for the unveiling, the model and presenter wore a cropped embossed leather trench from Burberry’s fall 2025 collection — a runway piece built from calf leather and finished with a baroque pattern drawn from the faded interiors of British stately homes.

The cropped trench comes with a double-breasted front, raglan sleeves and pocket lines that mirror the jacket’s baroque embossing. Beneath the collar, a stitched Burberry Check adds a quiet nod to the archive. Chung wore the piece over straight black trousers and black pointed-toe pumps, carrying Burberry’s Medium Highlands Bowling Bag in Fig, made from grainy buffalo leather with a cotton-canvas l
