A man has been found guilty today (Wednesday) of unlawfully killing a "fragile and vulnerable" 33-year-old who died after he was assaulted twice in two days.
John Farmer, from Chatham, punched Josh Ingram on April 1 last year, resulting in a "more than minimal contribution" to his death.
Two days earlier, Mr Ingram had been hit by another man in an unrelated incident and was subsequently diagnosed with a subdural haematoma.
But while it could not be said with certainty whether that initial brain bleed had caused or contributed to his death, it was the prosecution's case that it put Mr Ingram at a "significantly increased risk" from the consequences of any further blunt trauma.
