It seems easy enough to take a COVID-19 test at home. But what if your results aren't so simple to interpret? If you get just a faint line, does that mean you're actually positive for COVID?
I know firsthand how it feels to get a confusing COVID test result like this. I tested positive for the virus on a rapid antigen test during the summer of 2022. But my first test had a line that was so faint I wasn't sure if I was really positive or just tricking myself.
I felt sick, so I stayed home and took another test the next day. This time, the line came back much darker and was obviously a positive result, confirming that I did have COVID-19.
This example illustrates why it's important to remember how to use and interpret COVID tests. And, as we enter the winter holiday season, keep in mind
