Inever thought rock and roll and pantomimes would go together - but this theatre in Ipswich is proving me wrong.

The New Wolsey Theatre has been putting its own twist on the family-friendly festive performance for 25 years.

It was my first time seeing the pantomime there and I was not quite sure what to expect - but I was blown away.

The pantomime follows the story of Belle and her friend Pigeon, who discover the Beast's castle behind the oldest door in Ipswich despite being hidden by Snarlina's spell.

Without giving too much away, I loved the twist at the end as it resonated with the show's message of loving yourself.
