The hit BBC spy thriller series sees Holliday Grainger return where she will be joined by Dublin Murders star Killian Scott and Game of Thrones star Joe Dempsie

Fans of BBC series The Capture will be excited to get a first glimpse of series three, which is set to air in spring next year.

The Capture, a British spy thriller series which has already had two hit seasons, is due to return to the BBC in spring 2026 and bring a new dose of corruption, lies and twists and turns. It first aired in 2019 with a follow up series in 2022, before making viewers wait four years for their next instalment.

The series sees Holliday Grainger , return to lead the cast as Rachel Carey where she will be joined by Dublin Murders star Killian Scott.
