COLUMBIA TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WXIX) - Law enforcement have released the body camera footage after a former Tri-State sheriff was charged with OVI and leaving the scene of an accident last week.
A.J. “Tim” Rodenberg, 77, of Hyde Park, pleaded not guilty in court Monday and surrendered his driver’s license.
Rodenberg served as the Clermont County sheriff from 1997 before retiring in early 2017.
Before becoming sheriff, he served in the Marine Corps and worked as an assistant prosecuting attorney.
“Needless to say, I’m very down and ashamed of what happened,” Rodenberg told FOX19 NOW earlier this week.
“At this point, I would rather not discuss it further.”
