On Tuesday, the Buffalo Bills signed veteran wide receiver Brandin Cooks to the 53-man roster. Cooks recorded 19 receptions for 165 yards during 10 games with the New Orleans Saints this season before his release on Saturday.

With Cooks occupying a spot on the roster, the Bills needed to make a cut. Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Bills released wide receiver Elijah Moore on Wednesday.

The decision to release Moore follows wide receiver Keon Coleman being a healthy scratch in Weeks 11 and 12 due to disciplinary reasons. He missed a team meeting before the Bills faced the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 11.
