If not now, when?
The Penguins (10-6-5) over the next four days face their biggest stretch of season to date, three games that could either prove their hot start to be a mirage or yank a lousy November so far up by the bootstraps.
They’re three winnable games, too.
Buffalo arrives at PPG Paints Arena with a 9-9-4 record, including 1-5-2 on the road. The Penguins will travel to Columbus on Black Friday, and the Blue Jackets (11-9-3) haven’t exactly been world-beaters.
The Maple Leafs, who play in Pittsburgh on Saturday, are the worst team in the Eastern Conference with a 9-10-3 record for just 21 points. Toronto also has the worst goal differential of anyone in the East (8) and has lost six of seven on the road.
“Obviously we haven’t won nearly as many games as we’d like in November,”
