LAS VEGAS — It was a basket in the closing minutes of a blowout, but it may have been the highlight of Tuesday’s game. With just under four minutes left and Michigan leading Auburn by 30, redshirt freshman Oscar Goodman tipped a teammate’s missed 3 to L.J Cason, who passed to Goodman in the left corner, right in front of Michigan’s bench.

The 6-foot-7 Goodman faked a shot to lose his defender, drove and dunked — off two feet, with two hands — over Auburn’s 6-foot-8 Filip Jovic. Michigan’s bench exploded.

“Man, we’re just out there having fun, celebrating each other,” Michigan starting guard Nimari Burnett said. The bench reaction, as seen in the video above, was wild.

Goodman, from New Zealand, joined the team midway through last season and redshirted. He’s played 23 minutes this season
