Downtown San Antonio is getting a brand-new way to deck the halls. For the first time, locals can stroll through Travis Park and walk away with a fresh Christmas tree, thanks to a new centralized tree lot running through the holiday season, November 28-December 23.

The initiative comes from a partnership between Centro San Antonio and the City of San Antonio, which teamed up with Holiday Hills Christmas Trees . The family-owned grower that has supplied fresh firs to South Central Texas since 1988. The idea is to make it easier for downtown residents, office workers, and visitors to pick out the perfect tree without schlepping to the suburbs.
