Police on Tuesday identified a registered sex offender who recently moved to the Amarillo Creek neighborhood of Maricopa.

Michael Loren Miller, 54, was convicted of aggravated sexual abuse in federal court in Arizona in 2000. Records show the victim was a female child acquaintance under the age of 8. He was also convicted in 2012 of failure to register as a sex offender.

Miller, who also goes by variations of the name “Dalen Juan” and his street name, “Spider,” moved to 46803 W. Mellen Lane in Amarillo Creek from an unknown location. He is described as a 5-foot-6 man weighing 178 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.
