A Manhattan man has been charged with a series of unprovoked attacks on a subway platform last Wednesday.
Tyquan Manassa, 27, allegedly approached a man on the E and F train platform at Kew Gardens-Union Turnpike between 3:10 and 3:25 p.m. Nov. 19 and repeatedly struck him with a sharp object, causing a laceration to his forehead and ear.
Manassa then walked away and slapped a bystander in the face, according to the Queens DA’s Office. Shortly after that, the perpetrator allegedly approached a third man on the platform and struck him in the face with a knife, causing bleeding to his eyebrow. Manassa then fled the station, the DA said.
The first victim received 16 stitches at an area hospital, and the other stabbing victim got seven.
