Nobody ever accused New York City of being relaxing. The streets are crowded, the subway is unpredictable, and the wealth gap is mind-boggling. I've lived in this beautifully dysfunctional metropolis for 15 years, and I know you can't close your doors to chaos here. It suffuses every experience, so the only thing left to do is embrace it, and what better place to do that than at a diner?
