AUSTIN, Texas — Law enforcement arrested multiple people after more than $12,000 was stolen during a "shoplifting blitz operation" this week in North Austin.
According to the Austin Police Department (APD), 11 people were arrested and one citation was given after roughly $12,900 worth of stolen items was found at the Domain, Lakeline and Canyon Ridge areas. Police said they recovered the merchandise from Sunday, Nov. 23 through Tuesday Nov. 25.
Arrests and citations
One person was cited for theft at an H-E-B on 500 Canyon Ridge Dr. near the Tech Ridge Center, but they were not booked into jail. Police arrested one person for Robbery by Threat in a separate incident at the same location.
