CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio — A pedestrian was injured late Wednesday morning after being struck by a truck near the intersection of Franklin Street and Court Street.

The incident occurred around 10:15 a.m., prompting a rapid response from Circleville emergency crews. First responders treated the victim at the scene before transporting them to a nearby hospital for further care. The extent of the injuries has not yet been released.

Circleville Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
