A Georgia prosecutor on Wednesday slammed the final nail in the coffin of Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis' long-frustrated racketeering (RICO) case against President Donald Trump .
In a one-page motion , self-assigned District Attorney Pro Tempore Peter Skandalakis threw his hands up for the second time this month, expressing the Peach State's desire to wholly drop the case.
"[A]fter a thorough examination of the case file, consideration of applicable statutory and case law, and prior to submission to a jury, the State hereby moves for entry of a Nolle Prosequi for the following reason: to serve the interests of justice and promote judicial finality," the motion reads.
