Mike and Dom Bracco have been attending Phillipsburg-Easton football games for a long time.
“Probably our whole life,” said Dom , the Stateliners sophomore quarterback.
But not quite as they will on Thanksgiving Day when the 118th renewal of scholastic football’s greatest rivalry kicks off at Lafayette College’s Fisher Stadium (10:30 a.m.).
The Braccos will come to the field at Fisher as Phillipsburg starters, Dom at quarterback and Mike at wide receiver and linebacker as the Stateliners (10-2) meet Easton (13-1) in a game people start talking about approximately 10 minutes after the previous one ends.
“We always thought we’d be able to play together on Thanksgiving, and we always wanted to do it, and this week I am starting to realize it’s for real,” Dom said.
