WESTFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - After several days on the lamb, police and animal control officers in Westfield have finally caught a woolly fugitive.
After days of going on a ‘ram’page, a runaway sheep was finally taken back to pasture. Officials said they’ve been trying to catch the sheep for days, but it kept evading capture. However, after a ewe-nited effort, officers were able to bring the ‘shear’ madness to an end.
Both the sheep and officers were uninjured, though animal control said there were a few bruised egos after the sheep managed to outrun three of the four people chasing it.
