Vancouver police are searching for a man who they say rammed a rideshare driver’s car four times after the driver picked up the man’s wife from work Nov. 15.
Police on Tuesday released dashcam video on social media of the assault, crediting the rideshare driver’s actions and quick thinking.
The video shows the driver and passenger, with blurred faces, as a man, identified by police as the passenger’s husband, repeatedly hits the back of the rideshare vehicle around 5 a.m.
“Over the course of several minutes, the suspect struck the rideshare driver’s vehicle four separate times, causing the rear of the car to collapse inward, shattering the rear window and nearly pushing them over a 20-foot embankment,” police said in the social media post.
