ATLANTA — Warming centers are starting to open across metro Atlanta as cold weather arrives and temperatures drop.

Below is a list of warming centers open in the city of Atlanta, DeKalb County, and Marietta.

Atlanta

The City of Atlanta announced that warming centers will open on Nov. 27 at 8 p.m., remain open until Nov. 28 at 9 a.m., and reopen on Nov. 28 at 8 p.m., remaining open until Nov. 29 at 9 a.m.

Locations for the warming centers are:

Central Park Recreation Center

4000 Merritts Avenue NE,

Atlanta, 30308.

Old Adamsville Recreation Center

3404 Delmar Lane NW,

Atlanta, 30331

Transportation is scheduled for every night at 8 p.m. from the Gateway Center, with return transportation from the Gateway Center until closing.
