The New England Patriots will officially be without Will Campbell for the next four games. As was announced by the team on Wednesday, the starting left tackle has been placed on injured reserve after suffering a reported MCL sprain against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 12.
Head coach Mike Vrabel announced the move during a press conference earlier that day, also revealing that his roster spot would be going to practice squad cornerback Miles Battle.
“We’ll put Will on IR here at 4 o’clock, and sign Miles Battle to the 53-man roster,” Vrabel said. “Just working through some moving parts here as we get to the middle part of our week with Monday night preparation and everything that we have to do to make sure that we have 48 guys that all have a role and understand how they can help us win
