LOS ANGELES – A car and a light rail train collided in downtown Los Angeles on Wednesday, causing a temporary service disruption on Metro’s A Line but no injuries.
The collision occurred at about 9:25 a.m. Wednesday, when the car made a left turn into the path of a southbound train at Flower Street near Pico Boulevard, according to Metro.
No one was injured, but the crash caused delays on the A Line. Regular service resumed within two hours.
The Los Angeles Police Department was investigating the collision.
The Metro A Line was formerly known as the Metro Blue Line.
