ELLERTON is expected to keep the Joe Tizzard bandwagon rolling with a win in the Trucksmith 40th Anniversary Handicap Hurdle (2.15) at Taunton today.

He scored once on the Flat when trained in France, but Ellerton failed to find the target 11 starts over jumps in Britain, eight defeats coming for Syd Hosie and three for Tony Charlton.

But the son of Zoustar moved to Tizzard before lining up against seven opponents for a novices’ handicap at Wincanton last March.
