MILAN — Milan has now its own Rockefeller moment, courtesy of the Ferragamo family and their Portrait hotel .

Part of Ferragamo ’s Lungarno Collection hospitality business, the location has installed an ice skating rink enclosed by its distinctive 16th-century colonnade, one of the key features of the sprawling hotel that is quietly nestled between central Corso Venezia and neighboring Via Sant’Andrea and that opened here in 2022 .

The implementation is part of a broader activation covering the holiday season and operating until Jan. 6.
