QPR’s Ben Hamer had to be taken off against Blackburn with one of the most painful-looking injuries you’ll see.
The goalkeeper collided with his own teammate early on in the Championship clash.
A lengthy stoppage for treatment followed, before Hamer eventually left the pitch of his own accord in the 18th minute. He was subsequently replaced by Paul Nardi.
Walking off, the 38-year-old Englishman had blood pouring from his face.
Close-up images showed tissues in both nostrils, while he appeared to have a cut below his right eye and a seriously damaged nose.
QPR posted on their social channels: "After a lengthy stoppage, Hamer can't continue following a nasty collision.
"Speedy recovery, Ben."
