BEREA — There's 10 other Browns players on the field with Shedeur Sanders on any given play. However, there one in particularly that the rookie quarterback has had to make sure his connection has been the strongest.
Of all of the players Sanders didn't get a chance to get reps with during training camp over the first 10 weeks of regular-season practices, center Ethan Pocic was arguably the most important. After all, the only other position when Sanders is on the field that is guaranteed to touch the ball is the center.
"The connection's definitely grown, I'll say." Sanders said Nov. 26. "I'm thankful to have him out there. He makes life easier for me and he's a smart person, smart player. That's definitely a relief when he is out there with me." Buy Cleveland Browns tickets
