Newcomer WRs Embrace Larger Roles
WRs Adonai Mitchell and John Metchie III joined the Jets midseason after being acquired in trades from Philadelphia and Indianapolis, respectively, and both players were integral parts of the Jets' offensive attack in Baltimore.
Metchie had the Jets' lone touchdown, a 13-yard score in the second quarter. He finished with a season-high 6 receptions for 65 yards.
"It's been super impressive how quick of a start he's gotten," C Josh Myers said. "I love his positive attitude and the way he shows up every day, and then just seeing it reflect on the field so quickly, it's been great for us."
