SCOTTISH pro-Palestine activists who face terrorism charges have accused prosecutors of "gaslighting" them after burning offers of getting off with a warning.

Fourteen activists have written to the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service (COPFS) to formally reject the offers, saying "we look forward to seeing some of your shameful prosecutors in court".

The activists were arrested under the Terrorism Act over alleged support for Palestine Action, which was proscribed as a terror organisation by the Labour Government in July.

Many of the activists had their court dates cancelled , and were subsequently offered the opportunity to accept a warning and avoid prosecution.
