CAMDEN, NJ — Trendon Watford will miss at least two weeks due to a left adductor strain suffered in Tuesday night's blowout loss to the Orlando Magic , the Sixers said after Wednesday’s practice. An MRI confirmed Watford’s strain.
After a hamstring injury prevented Watford from participating in any of training camp or preseason the 25-year-old missed the Sixers’ first three games of the regular season. Since returning, he has established himself as a quality rotation piece, whose ball-handling and playmaking chops at 6-foot-8 have been a boon for the Sixers on the offensive end.
