There was that one time the Steelers got their pass rush humming, harassed Josh Allen and made him miserable for most of a Sunday Buffalo afternoon.

But more often than not, Allen has padded his stellar NFL credentials in matchups with Mike Tomlin’s team. He’s 4-1, including a playoff game in 2024 that was their most recent meeting and his most dominant performance in the series. Allen hit 21 of his 30 passes for 203 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions while breezing his way to 74 yards rushing and another score on eight carries.

“Josh doesn’t wanna play superhero ball, but he’s the closest thing to a superhero in our game,” Steelers captain Cam Heyward said Wednesday. “He can make a lot of things happen. It’s athletic ability, arm talent — you name it, he’s got it.”
