FALL RIVER, Calif. – Shasta County Sheriff’s deputies made arrests on Tuesday, following an investigation into illegal firearms in the Burney/Fall River area. Deputies searched a residence on Long Street, uncovering weapons and drugs.
According to the Shasta County Sheriff’s Office, deputies detained several people at the residence, including Ethan Keltner, 22, and Matthew Lee Huff, 34. Huff, who had an outstanding felony warrant, was found with counterfeit currency, methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia.
Inside Keltner's room, deputies discovered an illegal assault rifle and various other firearms. Keltner was arrested on charges related to manufacturing and possessing illegal firearms and magazines. His bail was set at $25,000.
