Iowa women's basketball player Chit-Chat Wright sustained an undisclosed injury during last week's 57-52 victory over No. 10 Baylor in Kissimmee, Florida, and will not play for Wednesday's 6:30 p.m. CT game against Western Illinois.

Wright, a transfer from Georgia Tech, is averaging 12.6 points per game this season.

According to Iowa's availability report on Wednesday, Wright is out for tonight's game.

Iowa guard Chit-Chat Wright was fouled as she attempted a shot early in the third quarter against Baylor last Thursday and landed hard on the court.

She was tended to by trainers for several minutes before being helped up. Wright was then carried off the court by two Hawkeye staffers.
