LACEY, Wash. — The man police say was the behind the wheel during a fatal drive-by in Lacey on Nov. 14 pleaded not guilty to charges filed against him on Nov. 26.
Jaden Hawk Johns, 20, faces multiple charges, including first-degree aggravated murder. He is being held in Thurston County Jail without bail.
A pre-trial meeting is scheduled for Dec. 17. A jury trial is tentatively scheduled for Jan. 1.
Johns was charged alongside Trequanne Trenelle Wilson-Mason for the shooting deaths of 16-year-old Alexander Borgen and 17-year-old Deven Borgen. The brothers were found dead lying in a crosswalk on College Street Southeast near 24th Avenue early that morning.
The two suspects were arrested Nov. 19.
