Seven people were arrested when police raided a Waterbury apartment on Tuesday and alleged finding several firearms and multiple types of drugs with an estimated street value of $120,000.
The investigation began as police around 10:30 a.m. were trying to apprehend 27-year-old Adam Guzman of Waterbury who had two felony warrants out for his arrest, according to Sgt. Joseph Morais of the Waterbury Police Department .
The operation to apprehend Guzman involved members of the department’s Vice and Intelligence Unit, Gang Task Force and Auto Theft Task Force.
